World’s oldest working fireboat calls Buffalo home

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The oldest working fireboat in the world calls Western New York home. Her name is Edward M. Cotter and it’s got a lot of stories to tell. This year, the Cotter is turning 125 years old.

The Cotter’s horn echoes through a corridor along the Buffalo River. Her neighbors include General Mills. Captain Michael Kick loves to show off her bells and whistles.
