Amarillo, TX – Residents across the Texas Panhandle should prepare for possible thunderstorms late this afternoon into the evening, according to the National Weather Service in Amarillo.
Forecasters said Tuesday that most of the region will remain dry, but a few isolated showers and thunderstorms may develop between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.. While the chance of rain is relatively low—estimated at 10 to 15 percent—any storms that form could quickly become strong.
