LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man was arrested on Sunday after police said he broke into a home and threatened the pets inside.
Officers were called to a home in the area of Gregory and Judson streets just after 6:15 p.m. for a weapons violation in progress. The victim said an unknown man had entered her family’s home armed with a knife, pointed it at their dogs and then stole a bicycle.
While en route, officers found a man matching the description riding the bicycle nearby. Officers told him to stop but he kept riding until he was taken into custody about a mile away…
