After the wet weather yesterday, the start of the work week will be quite a bit drier than the end of the weekend. Low clouds and fog cover will linger into the morning hours, but – aside from some light misting – we should begin to see those drier skies taking hold around the region today.
Gradually clearing skies will make a significant difference by this afternoon with sunshine settling in around the region. That will help to slowly drive up temperatures, but at least for now we will continue on this cooler trend for the start of the week. Afternoon highs today will cap out in the mid-70s along the I-5 Corridor, but the drier and warmer trend tomorrow will drive us back up into the mid-80s by Tuesday.
