Atlanta police are currently investigating a death at 590 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. NW, after a 62-year-old man was found deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. According to Atlanta Police Department’s press release, officers responded to the scene for a welfare check around 12:53 p.m. last Saturday.
The Zone 1 officers discovered the body of the senior victim upon their arrival. While conducting their preliminary investigation, the detectives are considering the incident as a potential homicide situation.
