HIGH POINT, N.C. — Nearly every seat at Monday night’s meeting was filled by neighbors in High Point, most of them against a proposed homeless shelter. Many spoke out during the listening session.
The latest information shows there are more than 600 homeless people across Guilford County, most of the people at the meeting tonight said their heart goes out to those people and they want to help, just not in their backyard.
