Lexington man allegedly shoves wife out of moving car with child in back seat

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man is accused of shoving his wife out of a moving car over the weekend in Lexington.

At 12:53 a.m., on Sunday, Sept. 14, Jhonathan Garcia, 26, was said to have shoved his wife out of a moving vehicle on Jeffrey Court, according to an arrest citation. Their child was in the backseat at the time.

Lexington police noted that Garcia’s wife reportedly sustained bruises and scratches after being shoved out of the vehicle. She then tried to climb on the back of the car to try to stop Garcia from driving off with their child.

The citation noted that as Garcia sped away, she fell off the back of the vehicle and was further injured…
