Pennsylvania police pursue pigs on the loose near country club

Sept. 15 (UPI) — Police and animal rescuers in Pennsylvania are teaming up to attempt to capture multiple escaped pigs seen wandering loose near a Lancaster County country club.

The Manor Township Police Department said officers are working with Eastern Snouts Adoption and Rehoming to attempt to track down the pigs seen running loose in the area of the Conestoga Country Club.

Police said feeding stations and traps were set up during the weekend in the hopes of bringing the porcine problem to a peaceful end.

Eastern Snouts Adoption and Rehoming urged local residents to leave the swine chasing to the professionals and not to attempt to chase or feed the pigs themselves…
