DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – Daphne police are concerned after receiving several complaints of masked intruders banging on windows and doors overnight Saturday. It happened in the Timber Creek subdivision and those responsible were caught on security cameras.
Investigators are actively trying to identify the people seen in the surveillance images sent to them by concerned Timber Creek homeowners. Police said the teens or young adults with masks covering their faces, aggressively banged on windows and doors of residences, scaring homeowners. It raises concern, given recent events.
“When you take for instance, just recently in Houston, we had the same type situation where an eleven-year-old kid, him and his buddy were doing what they thought was just a simple prank and it, unfortunately it turned deadly. You don’t know how homeowners are going to react,” explained Captain David Smith with Daphne Police.
