Teen who fell to his death during East Bay sideshow identified as L.A. resident

A 16-year-old boy who fell to his death off an East Bay freeway on-ramp during a sideshow early Saturday was a Los Angeles resident, authorities said Monday.

The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Bureau identified the teen as Jose Cuevas, who lived in the Harbor City neighborhood of Los Angeles.

A spectator of the sideshow, he fell about 75 feet to the ground after climbing over a concrete safety barrier on the on-ramp from Pomona Street to westbound Interstate 80 in Crockett, the California Highway Patrol said…
