Michigan man with suspended license charged with improper handling of firearm and suspected drugs

A Michigan man was arrested Saturday (Sept. 13) around 7 p.m., near the intersection of North Main Street and Newton Road, for improper handling a firearm and having suspected drug paraphernalia in a vehicle.

Bowling Green Police pulled over Tory Carrier, 33, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, because the trailer he was pulling with a truck was lacking a license plate and braking lights.

Inside the truck, officers reportedly found a plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine, a syringe, a spoon, and a glass pipe with drug residue…
