TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A multi-million-dollar restoration project in the Maumee River is complete. It involves the Clark and Delaware/Horseshoe Islands near Walbridge Park. Project leaders hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration on Monday.
The goal of the nearly two-year project is to significantly improve water quality and aquatic habitats in our region. It also creates a new recreation experience at Walbridge Park.
