LPD Continues Searching for Samaritan That Helped Girl Escape from Man

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 15)–Lincoln Police are asking for your help finding a woman who helped a child getaway from a man, who is now accused of sexual assault.

Back on Sept. 2, police say a woman saw a girl inappropriately being touched by a 25-year-old man near 40th and Old Cheney, where the Samaritan stopped her car and yelled at the man to leave, which he did. The woman then walked the girl home. Police later arrested the suspect, now identified as Gavin Neverve, who is a registered sex offender. He was arrested for third-degree sexual assault of a child…
