LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Arkansas Department of Agriculture will soon take control of most of the state’s federal nutrition programs, the agency announced last week.
The Arkansas Department of Human Services and the Arkansas Department of Education currently manage the state’s federally funded nutrition programs, but on Oct. 1, the Department of Agriculture will assume control of the programs.
