I-70 westbound reopens after deadly crash involving RTD bus in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 have reopened in Denver just west of Interstate 270 Monday morning after a deadly crash involving a Regional Transportation District bus.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reported the westbound lanes were closed Monday morning between the Quebec Street and Dahlia Street exits due to a crash before 7 a.m. CDOt reported the road had reopened just after 9 a.m.

Police said the crash involved one vehicle and the RTD bus, and an RTD spokesperson said the driver of the other vehicle was the one who died. The Denver Police Department, in a post on X, said the bus did not have any passengers…
