AFR: Woman rescued from flood channel in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Local crews rescued a woman from a flood channel in northeast Albuquerque during a monsoon storm Saturday.

According to Albuquerque Fire Rescue, a retired firefighter noticed her in the flood channel near Pennsylvania and I-40 at around 2:15 p.m. – right when heavy storms were hitting the metro. The firefighter alerted crews who found the woman and rescued her near the Montgomery overpass…
