(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Albert, an older Rocky Mountain goat at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZoo), has passed away.
“For years, Albert was the first animal that many people saw upon arriving at the Zoo, and he set a serene tone for the day,” the zoo said. “He will be deeply missed and remembered as majestic, stoic, calm, and confident. He was a wonderful ambassador for his species, which can be found throughout the Rocky Mountains, including here in Colorado.”
