CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man has lost his life and a woman is in the hospital after a shooting overnight, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
Around 1:42 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, CMPD officers were called to Albemarle Road near Central Avenue. They arrived to find two people shot, both with life-threatening injuries.
The Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic) says it took one person to Atrium Carolinas Medical Center and the other to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. One of the two, a man, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other, a woman, is receiving medical care…
