Internet outages affecting nearly 30 Muscogee County Schools, district says

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Muscogee County School District has released a statement informing the community of a partial internet outage affecting 25 schools in the district.

The district says all online platforms and resources are being temporarily impacted by the internet outage. Disruptions are affecting the district’s email, phone system and more.

The following schools are impacted:

  • Dorothy Height Elementary School
  • East Columbus Magnet Academy
  • Eddy Middle School
  • Forrest Road Elementary School
  • Fort Middle School
  • Gentian Elementary School
  • Georgetown Elementary School
  • Kendrick High School
  • Key Elementary School
  • Lonnie Jackson Elementary School
  • Matthews Elementary School
  • Mary Buckner Academy
  • Muscogee County Public Education Center
  • Midland Academy Elementary School
  • MLK Elementary School
  • Odis Spencer Multi-Sports Complex
  • Reese Road Elementary School
  • Rigdon Road Elementary School
  • Rainey-McCullers School of the Arts
  • Rothschild Middle School
  • South Columbus Elementary SChool
  • Spencer High School
