RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — One person was airlifted to a hospital after a late Sunday night shooting in Hoke County, deputies said.
According to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting investigation began just after 11:45 p.m. when deputies responded to reports of person being shot in the area of Ernest Road and Jeff Road, just outside the town of Bowmore, N.C.
When they arrived, deputies said they found a man who had been shot multiple times. The sheriff’s office said deputies applied a torniquet to the victim’s limb that was shot and shortly after that, EMS arrived…
