Landrum sees record turnout for Hogback Mountain Day

LANDRUM—On Saturday, September 13, Landrum hosted the annual Hogback Mountain Day, drawing a record number of attendees for a day dedicated to community pride, local business, and scenic views.

The event, celebrating Hogback Mountain that overlooks the city, has grown into a local tradition. This year’s festivities attracted over 2,700 participants, making it one of Landrum’s largest gatherings yet.

The Mountain Artisan Vendor Market, located along North Trade Avenue, drew crowds featuring approximately 40 vendors, including Miss Tammy’s Day Care, The Lions Club, Boards to Bowls, Steps to Hope, P3 Retail, Stubborn Mule, Habitat for Humanity, Posie’s Flower Patch, Eubanks Farm Store, Plumley Creek Farm & Nursery, and Bubu BBQ Sauces, showcasing the region’s entrepreneurial spirit.
