2025 Myrtle Beach Classic brings in $15.8 million, continues to boost Grand Strand economy

The Myrtle Beach Classic Tournament’s economic impact stretched far beyond the putting green in 2025. The tournament generated $15.8 million, boosting the Grand Strand’s economy.

2025’s Myrtle Beach Classic was only the second year of the tournament, but it’s already surpassed 2024’s total of $15.4 million. This year, 58% of attendees were from all over the US and 12 different countries.

The event brought in more than $1.1 million in food, beverage and merchandise sales alone, and more than 9,600 lodging room nights were booked, according to Visit Myrtle Beach…
