HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia State Police responded to two separate crashes at the same location in Hampton Tuesday, hours apart.
A truck carrying glass ran off the road into an embankment on I-64 at the Mercury Boulevard exit (263A) shortly before 10 a.m.

There were no other vehicles involved, state police said. The driver was transported to Riverside Regional Hospital in Newport News with injuries. There’s no word yet how serious the driver’s injuries are.
