SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – There will soon be a new thrift-shopping option on Savannah’s Southside, and it will elevate the impact bargain hunting brings to single mothers and their babies.
The Living Vine Maternity Home, which provides support to pregnant women in need, will open their second Blessingdales location Wednesday, Sept. 17. The thrift store supports Living Vine services by selling donated items.
The new store at 821 King George Boulevard will hold three times the inventory as the original Blessingdales in midtown Savannah. At more than 11,000 square feet, it will hold up to 15,000 garments and will also have household items, jewelry, handbags and shoes…
