The public shares concerns over drones in the Syracuse Police Department

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Residents shared their concerns over privacy at a public hearing dedicated to the idea of implementing drones within the Syracuse Police Department.

This comes after SPD received $1.3 million from New York State to improve policing technology. Other additions to the police force include a robot dog and new LED lights in high crime areas according to New York State’s website.
