Cape Fear Literacy Council announces Fall Adult Storytelling Series lineup

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Cape Fear Literacy Council (CFLC) has announced the lineup for its Fall Adult Storytelling Series.

The series runs from Sept. 23 through Oct. 28 and features the following writers and entertainers:

  • September 23: Rhonda Bellamy
  • September 30: Nina de Gramont
  • October 7: John Jeremiah Sullivan
  • October 14: Anita Thomas
  • October 21: Zach Hanner
  • October 28: Celia Rivenbark

“This series is a chance to experience the joy of storytelling in a fun, social setting,” said Yasmin Tomkinson, Executive Director of CFLC. “We are thrilled to showcase the talents of North Carolina’s finest writers and entertainers while bringing the community together to support literacy. Every WHQR moderator brings a different and interesting conversation to the table, and we see new friendships forged each week.”

All events will be held at the Azalea Station in Wilmington’s Cargo District, starting at 5:30 p.m. and include a ‘Meet and Mingle’ before the program at 5 p.m. and a Q&A following the program…
