One of the things I loved about working in the downtown Amarillo building that I used to be in was the food. We had always had some kind of restaurant option when I worked there. Downtown Amarillo has a lot of places for food, but when you have one in your building, it makes things easier.
The building I was in at one point had a second location of Delvin’s. If you have never had Delvin’s, you are missing out. I would eat there pretty much daily. I mean, it was convenient, but it was also very good.

They closed in my building during COVID because, of course, nobody was going into the building, and many businesses had to close down. The best part is that the original location at 1300 N Hughes is not only still going strong, but they are about to celebrate in Amarillo.
