Nearly one in 10 Dallas households is at risk of their water being shut off, a city memo released Friday announced. According to the city, balances 60 days or more past due are at risk of being disconnected and charged late fees, a situation that 8.4% of Dallas Water Utilities customers currently find themselves in.
As it turns out, that’s a significant improvement from where things stood a year ago.
