PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – As part of the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) 82nd Avenue Crossing Project, construction on two new crosswalks started on Monday.
One crosswalk will be installed along Southeast 82nd Avenue and Southeast Ramona Street. The other crosswalk will be installed a few blocks down the street at 82nd and Southeast Tolman Street.
“I think it’s a great idea. Should have been done sooner,” said Yuri Feitser, who lives in the neighborhood. “Could have saved a lot of accidents.”…
