Car ripped apart during violent crash into tree in Kent

KENT, Wash. — A car was reduced to hunks of twisted metal strewn across a street after a driver slammed into a tree in Kent.

The violent wreck happened on S 84th St and S 212th St in an area just south of Westfield Southcenter Mall at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday.

It appears that after crossing railroad tracks, the driver lost control and then hit a tree on the east side of the road…
