String of vehicle break-ins during Nelly, Ja Rule concert sparks safety concerns at PNC Music Pavilion

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Several concertgoers had their vehicles broken into and items stolen over the weekend outside PNC Music Pavilion, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

While fans were inside enjoying performances by Nelly and Ja Rule on Sunday, September 14, multiple people returned to the parking lot to find their vehicles broken into.

According to several CMPD reports, more than 20 people reported vehicle break-ins in the parking lot, with the thefts allegedly happening between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. that night…
