Representatives from Osceola County, the City of Kissimmee, Birdsong Housing Partners, and Pinnacle gathered Tuesday for the ribbon cutting of Pinnacle at the Wesleyan, a new affordable housing community near Shingle Creek.

“Affordable housing is one of the greatest needs in Osceola, and projects like this help hard-working families live where they work, raise their children with stability, and build a brighter future,” said Viviana Janer, chairwoman of the Osceola Board of County Commissioners. She noted that the board’s $4.5 million-dollar commitment helped make this community a reality, and she thanked partners, including Pinnacle Communities, Birdsong Housing Partners, the City of Kissimmee, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Bank of America, and Neighborhood Lending Partners. “It really does take a village, and this project is a testament to that,” Janer said.…
