Three national progressive organizations: People for the American Way, Run for Something, and the New American Leaders Action Fund are backing Mussab Ali for Jersey City mayor.
“These organizations have been on the frontlines of expanding democracy and empowering the next generation of leaders. I am honored to have their support as we work together to make Jersey City a place where everyone has a voice and a fair shot,” Ali said in a statement.
Each group cited the former board of educations president’s record of leadership and vision for the city as key reasons for their support.
