MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Alabama Reentry Task Force met in Montgomery Tuesday to discuss its long-term goal of cutting the state’s 30 percent reoffending rate down to 15 percent by 2030.
In the meeting, task force members discussed providing a better path to success for recently released Alabama inmates, such as addressing housing, job and education accessibility concerns.
