La Vergne, TN – Quick action by La Vergne dispatchers, police, and Rutherford County EMS saved the life of an infant early Monday morning.
At around 5:00 a.m., dispatchers received a frantic call from a woman screaming for help about her baby. Despite the chaotic situation, dispatchers were able to quickly gather the information and direct first responders to the scene in northern Rutherford County.
Several La Vergne Police Officers arrived, and Sgt. Woodard observed the infant was not breathing. Acting immediately, Sgt.
