NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are searching for a suspect after a 13-year-old was struck by a vehicle Monday evening.
Pedestrian dies after being injured in hit-and-run crash in downtown Nashville, driver in custody
The crash happened at the intersection of Shelby Avenue and S 5th Street around 6:20 p.m. on Monday. According to a spokesperson for the Metro Nashville Police Department, the teen was struck by a white Ford Fusion driven by a white woman.
The driver fled the scene of the crash.
The teen was reportedly transported to Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with a possibly broken leg.
