PYRAMID BURGER POPS UP IN SANTA BARBARA

Pyramid Burger, a new culinary pop-up operating out of Revolver Pizza in Santa Barbara’s Westside, is the creation of winemaker Scott Sampler (Central Coast Group Project, scotty-boy!, L’Arge d’Oor) and Revolver chef/co-owner Nick Bodden. The project exists within the playful culinary “quad” of Bodden’s TRIXY (a restaurant-within-a-restaurant concept at Revolver) and Sampler’s Salon des Refusés Wine Bar, which showcases the wines of CCGP.

The Concept

On two Monday nights each month (5:00–10:00 PM), Revolver Pizza flips from New York–style pies to serving triangle-shaped cheeseburgers on custom triangular buns. The burgers come topped with provolone, shredded lettuce, house-pickled giardiniera, and a proprietary deli spread, with fresh-cut potato chips on the side…
