Neighborhood of the Year winners recognized by Leon County, CONA

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – For the 44th year in a row, the Leon County Government and the Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA) are recognizing the county’s “outstanding neighborhoods and neighbors” in their Annual Neighborhood Recognition Program.

Meanwhile, the Killearn Homeowners Association won Large Neighborhood of the Year for their work hosting community events, restoring a community lake and creating a new dog park, according to the county press release.

Highgrove Homeowners Association won Unincorporated Neighborhood of the Year for “establishing a lending library, expanding digital communication systems, replanting native plants, promoting recycling efforts, and hosting gatherings and holiday parties,” the county said…
