A North Richland Hills resident claimed the first of 10 top prize-winning scratch-off tickets worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery’s new Million Dollar Loteria game.
The Texas Lottery said the $20 scratch-off ticket was purchased at C&D Kwik Stop #2 on W. Seminary Drive in Fort Worth and claimed on Sept. 10.
The winner, who elected to remain anonymous, would pay federal taxes of about $370,000 on the $1 million win, leaving them about $630,000. Texas does not have a state tax on lottery winnings…
