EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso Border Patrol Chief Walter Slosar highlighted significant changes in border management, attributing recent successes to policy shifts and increased federal funding.
“If you think about a time around 2023, we’re apprehending about 2,700 people a day,” said Slosar. “Now we’re catching anywhere between 40 and 50 people a day and the majority of those are single adults.”
