Fake grenade causes real response from Omaha police bomb squad

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Update: The grenade was found to be a replica and the area has been reopened.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office recommends not disposing of munitions, even replicas, in trash, as it could cause a 911 response. Like this one.
