DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is investigating a vehicle fire as arson after the car was found afire on Tuesday afternoon.
The agency was paged to the fire at about 12:48 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers found a vehicle “engulfed in flames” near the intersection of Piccadilly and Smith roads, which is north of Interstate 70 and west of E-470, near an asphalt plant.
The car appears to be a white, four-door Ford SUV with a lot of belongings in the trunk that spilled out onto the roadway.
The police department is asking anyone who saw the vehicle on Tuesday between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., or who may have any information that could help, to call investigators at 303-739-6041…
