HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Records from the Honolulu Police Department show officers are working excessive hours of overtime to make up for staffing shortages.
More than 100 officers logged at least 1,000 hours of extra time and eight of them claimed more than 2,000 overtime hours in the fiscal year 2025 which ended in June.
