The Durham Farmers’ Market uses SNAP to increase potential customers’ purchasing power via the Double Bucks program. Founded in 2014, the Double Bucks program gives SNAP and other food assistance program beneficiaries tokens, which can be used across eight farmers’ market locations in the Triangle.
