LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It can take a long time to rebuild lost confidence; however, the Fayette County School Board believes it has taken the first step toward doing so.
“I think the only way to bring back trust of people in this community is going to be to actually show them what happened,” Noah Corentt, a community member who attended the meeting, said.

The school board announced that external eyes will be put on the district’s finances and operations. This piggybacks off of Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins’ recent announcement that an internal investigation has already begun.
