Conversation and connection take center stage this fall at Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve with the Science Nite Series – “Oceans, Plastics and Peace of Mind” on Oct. 22, Nov. 25 and Dec. 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This three-part after-hours program held at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center offers engaging talks on a variety of environmental topics in science and nature. Each evening stands on its own, so participants may attend one, two or all three sessions depending on their interests.
Science Nites also includes food and drink, a scavenger hunt to win prizes, the chance to mingle with fellow nature lovers, and extra time to enjoy the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center’s touch tank, aquariums, exhibits and art gallery.
