Authorities allege that, on August 12, Glass, Joseph and 37-year-old Nathan Fields had approached a 68-year-old man on Clinton Avenue, threw him to the ground and repeatedly punched him before running off with the victim’s gold jewelry. The 68-year-old had reportedly suffered injuries to his hand, head and neck.
The next day, Albany police officers pulled over a vehicle occupied by Glass and arrested him. Authorities later carried out a search warrant at his Third Street home and allegedly found a large ammunition-feeding device capable of holding 50 rounds.
On August 14, police searched another residence on Sheridan Avenue and found Joseph and Latimer, as well as two loaded 9mm handguns, officials said. The serial number of one of the guns was reportedly defaced.
