Augusta University observes Constitution Day Sept. 17 with public reading

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Augusta University recognized Constitution Day on Wednesday with its annual celebration on campus.

AU’s Libraries, Department of Communication and Department of Social Sciences partnered to host the event commemorating the signing of the United States Constitution 238 years ago, on Sept. 17.

Volunteers gathered to read the U.S. Constitution, and informational tables provided information about voter registration.
