Actor Elizabeth Banks, 51, recently revealed her surprisingly simple approach to aging well. In an interview, the mother of two emphasized the importance of prioritizing fundamental self-care practices.
“Water, better nutrition, eight hours of sleep,” Banks stated, acknowledging the challenge of consistent sleep amidst the demands of family life. She stressed the impact of sufficient rest on her overall well-being, noting, “It affects everything about me, including the way that I look and including the way my skin feels.”
Banks also highlighted the importance of hydration, starting each day with two glasses of water. However, her routine extends beyond the physical.
She credits a positive mindset as a key factor in her approach to aging. “Getting rid of negative self-talk and just being positive about how you feel about yourself,” she explained.
This positive outlook allows her to embrace aging as a natural process, stating simply, “I am aging, and I’m happy about it.”
