JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) – Pet owners in Charleston are facing new requirements as city leaders move to strengthen identification rules for cats and dogs.
A proposal advanced by the city’s public safety committee would mandate that all pets over four months old be either microchipped or always wear visible collar identification.
